Southern Hoist Services were represented at the<\/span> <\/span>International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)<\/span><\/a> <\/span>Summit and IAPAS in Dublin last week. We<\/span>\u00a0visited<\/span> <\/span>KDM HIRE<\/span><\/a> <\/span>where we discussed lots of business opportunities and it was great to meet people who have the same ethos as us and it was such a<\/span> warm welcome to the Emerald Isle!<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Next on the agenda was the joint meeting of UK & Ireland work group and International committee for MCWP & Hoists. A meeting of minds across the globe, discussing the next steps to continue improving our industry worldwide.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The event saw 16 speakers present various topics to 515 attendees from 28 countries!! The biggest Summit yet. <\/span>We shared our stories of becoming the first MCWP\/Hoist companies in the UK & Ireland to achieve IPAF Rental + and also had the opportunity to share all the hard work between IPAF and<\/span> <\/span>CPA – Construction Plant-hire Association<\/span><\/a> <\/span>CHIG group which has resulted in a number of courses for the industry.<\/span>

\n<\/span>We were honoured that SHS Director Kirsty Archbold-Laming was asked to be a judge and presented an award to<\/span> <\/span>GEDA GmbH<\/span><\/a> <\/span>–\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
